President Donald Trump is tapping Rhode Island lawyer and utility regulator Paul Roberti to serve in his cabinet.
Earlier this week, Roberti was nominated to serve as head of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
The department is an arm of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Roberti's nomination now goes to the Senate for a confirmation vote.
