President Trump's attempt to restrict birthright citizenship is being temporarily blocked by a federal judge.
The judge heard arguments on Wednesday in Maryland related to a request by five pregnant illegal immigrants to put a preliminary injunction in place blocking the executive order Trump signed on his first day.
The women and two non profits filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration and alleged it violated federal laws as well as the constitution.
The executive order was put on hold last month by a federal judge in Seattle and called the executive order unconstitutional.
