An appeals court says LSU doesn't have to return law professor Ken Levy to the classroom at this time.
LSU administrators removed Levy from the classroom last week after he delivered a lecture in which he reportedly criticized Gov. Jeff Landry and President Donald Trump in vulgar terms.
Levy sued the school over his removal, and a court issued a temporary restraining order to keep it from happening.
The Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal on Tuesday scheduled an evidentiary hearing for next Monday to decide whether the TRO should be enforced.
