Kim Kardashian traded her long locks for a shorter 'do after recently making a big chop in a dramatic hair transformation.
The Kardashians star got rid of some dead weight this week thanks to celebrity hairstylist and longtime friend Chris Appleton, who cut off several inches of her long dark hair into a chic, on-trend short bob that hits right at her jaw.
Appleton shared a carousel of photos on his Instagram showcasing Kardashian's new bob, which she debuted at the Fourth Annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend, per E! News. He also included a snap of the trimmed hair on the floor of his salon shaped into a heart.
"Love this new chop on kim, we got 7 inches off her hair!" the stylist wrote in the caption, making sure to also shut down speculation about her new look. "(No it's not a wig before u start lol)".
Appleton added that the inspiration behind the stylish 'do was from a vintage fashion campaign, revealing, "To style we opt for an iconic Deep side part Tom Ford Gucci 98 inspired."
The SKIMS founder's new look comes days after her sister Khloe Kardashian showed off her own shorter hairstyle, much to the delight of her Instagram followers.
