TUCSON, Ariz. – After the first day of the N.I.T., the Fresno State men's golf team sits in 11th place at 1-under 541, following one full round at the Omni Tucson National Resort. The second round wasn't finished, with 2-3 holes remaining due to darkness.
James Watney is leading the Bulldogs at 2-under. Watney shot an even-par 72 in the first round and is currently 63 with two holes left to play in the second round. He recorded seven birdies on the day.
Joseph Lloyd is even par, Chris Bettencourt sits at 1-over, Ryan Firpo is 4-over, and Jaden Hunter is 9-over.
The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. PT, following the completion of the second round in the morning.
