China, in response to 10 percent tariffs put into place by President Donald Trump, has responded with retaliatory tariffs of its own.
Beijing announced that it will charge extra tariffs of 15 percent on coal and liquified natural gas, along with ten percent on crude oil, farm equipment and some cars starting February 10th. Over the weekend President Trump signed off on tariffs on China in addition to existing 25 percent tariffs rolled out during his first term.
This came after the President paused tariffs on Mexico and Canada for 30 days Monday. Both countries have promised to increase their efforts to secure the border and stop illegal aliens and drugs from flowing into this country.
