More and more teens these days are drinking caffeinated beverages on a daily basis, and health experts are very concerned about it. New guidelines released by a panel of pediatric health experts suggest that kids between the ages of five and 18 should not drink any caffeinated beverages at all because their brains are in a "period of rapid development," and caffeine could stunt that development. It can contribute to poor sleep habits, anxiety, dependency, and headaches. Instead, parents are advised to have their kids drink only water and milk. Fruit juice is OK in moderation. Everything else should be off-limits.
