Cynthia Erivo ran into a bit of trouble trying to find her seat at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 2) night, but she ended up getting some help from Taylor Swift, who offered to share her own seat near the stage.

Swift and Erivo were seen sitting close together during the night, but it turns out they were actually sharing a seat after Erivo couldn't find her assigned table, per E! News. A video shared to X (formerly Twitter) caught the "Fortnight" singer gesturing toward the Wicked star as she made her way through the crowded room, scooting over in her chair to offer the other half to Erivo. After the Tony Award winner sat down, the pair shared a hug and a laugh as host Trevor Noah spoke about some of the nominated artists.

While seated together during Noah's monologue, Swift also took the chance to recreate Erivo and her Wicked co-star Ariana Grande's hilarious "holding space" meme, holding Erivo's finger as she laughed along.

Erivo was one of several artists of took part in a star-powered tribute to late legendary producer Quincy Jones, kicking off the set with a stunning rendition of his arrangement of "Fly Me to the Moon."

Swift, who presented the award for Best Country Album to a shocked Beyoncé for Cowboy Carter, also turned heads with her gorgeous red Vivienne Westwood mini dress that seemingly included multiple nods to her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce.
