On THIS day back in 1882 – P.T. Barnum, purchased the FAMOUS circus elephant, known as “Jumbo"

Back in those days... Before Tik Tok, And Television… and Hot Teenage Boy Bands…. The biggest thing that could happen in your life… was if the traveling circus came to town

And it was not like today’s Politically Correct, Ultra-Sensitive “lets not hurt anybody’s feelings” kind of Circus…It was ALL about finding the Biggest Freaks, Drunks, Pinheads, Animals doing Human Things… Humans doing Animal Stuff…. The WEIRDER it was, The Better.

And you won’t Believe how far Barnum & Bailey went… in the name of finding entertainment. .. Thats why today we’re doing a special: “Freak Stop Under the Big Top” Edition of Plenty of Twenty.
