The investigation into Friday night's air ambulance crash in Philadelphia is underway and the NTSB says it has recovered the cockpit voice recorder which should offer some clues.

The Jet Rescue Air Ambulance had just taken off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport en route to Branson, Missouri when it quickly went into a nosedive and crashed into a neighborhood. All six people on board, which included a pediatric patient and her mother, along with two medical personnel, a pilot and copilot were killed. One person on the ground was also killed. 22 others were injured, including five who remain hospitalized. Nearly a dozen homes were also damaged by the fire.
