FRESNO, Calif. - Former Fresno State football player DelVon Hardaway has been named the wide receivers coach for the Bulldogs under head coach Matt Entz. Hardaway was on staff in 2024 as an offensive graduate assistant with the receivers.
Prior to his GA stint with the Bulldogs, Hardaway served as the wide receivers coach at Fresno City College in 2023, coaching three receivers who earned full scholarships to play after their junior college careers.
No stranger to the Bulldog football program, Hardaway was a wide receiver in the Fresno State program from 2013-18. Hardaway was a part of the Bulldogs' 2018 Mountain West championship and Las Vegas Bowl title wins under head coach Jeff Tedford. Click here to find his full student-athlete bio.
Following his playing career as a Bulldog, he went on to play two seasons in the USFL with the Pittsburgh Maulers.
A native of Los Angeles, Hardaway earned his bachelor's degree in africana studies from Fresno State in 2019. He and his girlfriend Angela have a daughter, Bliss.
