Syracuse Hancock International Airport is now offering a free shuttle service for travelers. Starting in February 2025, the service will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing convenient transportation from the airport's parking lots directly to the terminal.
According to Syracuse.com, the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority has introduced this service to make it easier for passengers to reach the terminal from the newly opened economy lot and other parking areas. The executive director, Jason Terreri, noted that the initiative is part of the airport's efforts to accommodate the growing number of travelers.
The shuttle service will include four buses, each equipped with ample space for luggage. WSYR-TV reported that the airport is also planning to open a second parking lot this summer to further enhance parking options for travelers.
This development comes as the airport experiences increased passenger traffic, prompting the need for improved accessibility and convenience for those flying out of Syracuse.
