Sean "Diddy" Combs was recently hospitalized due to knee pain.

According to a report the New York Post published on Sunday, February 2, the Bad Boy Records founder was transported from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to a nearby hospital last week. Combs said his "knee was bothering him" and was taken to Brooklyn Hospital where he received an MRI. The Love Album artist arrived at 10 p.m. on Thursday to avoid media attention and did not stay overnight. He returned to his cell as soon as the scan was done. A rep for the Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on Combs' medical situation.

"I cannot comment on anything related to prisoner movements. Also, I’m not commenting on anything related to possible medical issues," the artist's attorney Marc Agnifilo told TMZ.

Combs reportedly had issues with his knee before he was locked up last year. The embattled mogul was arrested last September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and kidnapping. Prosecutors alleged Combs sexually abused several victims and used his entertainment empire as a "criminal enterprise." The charges stem from a slew of sexual assault lawsuits that were filed against him by multiple alleged victims. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and remained at MDC Brooklyn after he was denied bail.

Prosecutors recently filed a superseding indictment that provided more context to his charges. Although no new offenses were added, there are now three alleged victims instead of one. The indictment also clarified that Combs' alleged criminal timeline began in 2004 instead of 2008. Prosecutors made amendments to the indictment ahead of Combs' trial in May.
