Will Smith, Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, and more paid tribute to legendary, late producer Quincy Jones during the 2025 Grammys.

On Sunday (February 2), several stars of the music industry honored Jones, who died in November, with a joint performance of hits he produced throughout his career.

Smith started the tribute by delivering a monologue dedicated to Jones' legacy. The 28-time Grammy winner also served as an executive producer on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” the sitcom that saw Smith's star power skyrocket in Hollywood.

“This past year, we lost one of the most groundbreaking and influential figures of our times: Quincy Jones. Known to friends around the world simply as Q,” Smith began the tribute. “In his 91 years, Q touched countless lives, but I have to say, he changed mine forever. You probably wouldn’t even know who Will Smith was if it wasn’t for Quincy Jones. Quincy made so many music greats, across multiple genres, sound even greater, bringing the best out in legends.”

With Herbie Hancock on the piano, Wicked star Cynthia Erivo delivered a performance of Jones' "Fly Me to the Moon."

Lainey Wilson also took to the stage to perform the producer's "Let the Good Times Roll." The Jones tribute also included Wonder honoring the music legend with "Bluesette" and "We Are the World." Monae capped off the tribute performance by delivering Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough," which was also produced by Jones.
