One man is in a hospital Saturday afternoon after being shot during a confrontation with a police officer in Southeast Houston..
Houston Police say they received a call for help Saturday afternoon, the caller saying a suspicious-looking man was walking around with a weapon along Park Place near Galveston Rd..
When police arrived, there was apparently a confrontation with that man and one officer felt he needed to shoot.
Houston police say the suspect was injured and was taken to a hospital, but his condition has not been released.
