Talk about a sweet surprise—an Alabama mom just scored free doughnuts for a year. But it took some work to win that honor. Stuck in last week’s snowstorm, Sha’Nya Bennett and her partner were trying to get to the hospital when their baby decided he wasn’t waiting. With no other choice, Dad stepped up and delivered their son right there before paramedics arrived. Everyone’s doing great, and as a bonus, Krispy Kreme is hooking them up with a year’s worth of free doughnuts…and they’ll throw Dallas a birthday party every year until he’s an adult. The company said it’s the first time they know of that a child’s birth certificate has “Krispy Kreme” listed as a place of birth. Family members are even joking that the baby, named Dallas, should have the middle name “Glaze.”
