Bulldogs bolster roster for 2025

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State football head coach Matt Entz announced the addition of 21 mid-year players to the 2025 roster. The group includes 10 offensive players and 11 defensive players.

The Bulldogs have one true freshman offensive lineman with the program as an early enrollee – Brayden Walton (Buchanan HS).

Notable

Of the 21 additions, 13 join from a Division I program, two from a Division II program, five from a junior college, and one is joining out of high school.

Five mid-year additions are from the Valley - Josiah Ayon (WR), Braylan Henderson (OL), Brayden Walton (OL), Bryson Harrington (DL) and Logan Goodspeed (DL).

Although not Valley natives, Michael Jordan J. (Pasadena, Calif.) and Jadon Pearson (Gilbert, Ariz.) make their return to the Central Valley after beginning their collegiate careers at Reedley College.

The defensive line added the most newcomers with six.

On offense, the group with the most additions was the offensive line with four.

Andre Cobb (NKL) and Ethan Tierney (DB) both join from Northern Illinois, following defensive coordinator Nick Benedetto.

Fresno State added two defensive transfers from conference foe Utah State. Jadon Pearson and Simeon Harris were the first transfer commitments after the hiring of head coach Matt Entz.

Of the 21 additions, three attended nearby Buchanan High School. It brings Fresno State's spring roster total to eight Buchanan High School alums.

Defensive line addition Bryson Harrington transferred from Pitt, but not as a football player. He was a member of the wrestling team. His father, Grant, played offensive line at Fresno State in the late 90s.
