7-Eleven Is "Rewarding Us" for Getting Through January with Free Slurpees

Some people do "Dry January" to cut out alcohol for a month. If YOUR version of "Dry January" was cutting out 7-Eleven Slurpees . . . you have a big challenge facing you today.

7-Eleven just announced that they were "rewarding" everyone with FREE small Slurpees. It's today only, as a treat for making it through January, which they're calling, "the longest month of the year, to many."

The company says, "The long days of January can feel like the month will never come to an end . . . and this year has been no different. [We are hoping to] shift your vibe for the rest of the year."

This promotion is happening at "participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores nationwide . . . while supplies last." It's limited to one per customer, but no other purchase is necessary.

My question is: Why didn't they wait until TOMORROW to do this?

January isn't officially over yet . . . and even if "Dry January" usually doesn't involve eliminating Slurpees, some people do have diet-related goals tied to this month.
