Rod Wave has bowed out his "Last Lap Tour" earlier than expected after several issues caused him to abruptly cancel his remaining show dates.

Fans in Nashville, Tenn. became outraged on Tuesday, January 28, when the Bridgestone Arena announced that the Florida artist was "unable to perform." Shortly after the venue's announcement, fans in other locations like Atlanta and Chicago noticed their show dates had also been canceled. Rod Wave hopped on social media the following day to vent about what he's been going through lately and how everything affected his popular tour.

"Ok. So bout the tour," Rod began in his Instagram Story.

"Yall no it was f**ked up from the beginning Because [sic] of production!" he wrote. "They had to cancel and reschedule And it just wasn't makin any sense The second leg had the same problem I never missed a show for nothing personally ever in life."

His next post contained an image of several baggies of pain medication he needs to take for his recent injury. In his caption, he explained that both his foot and ankle were in pain throughout the tour. "This is what I had to do to continue I been mentally twacked out (laughing emojis) so pls excuse me."

In his following posts, Rod Wave asked for his fans to be a "lil more understanding." He explained that he spent over $13 million for the lights and stage production, but claimed it wasn't "built right." He said it wasn't fair to him or his fans to get a "half done show" and emphasized that it was out of his control. Rod ensured fans that they would get a full refund if the tour was canceled and said he may come back with a "bigger and better" show.

"I'm sorry yall !!!" he said. "Yall known this s**T always been professional ran right Maybe I jumped out there tooo fast Ima b back wit dis s**t together (promise emoji)."

Unfortunately, it's not clear when Rod Wave will be back. In another Instagram Story, the 26-year-old artist said he was tired of all the haters and trolls dragging him. He said he wants to travel, see the world, find love and raise some kids. He may even go back to school.

"Last lap was smooth," he wrote. "Hell of a journey. Thank you all... This ain't goodbye it's simply see you later 🖤🤞🏽 keep your head up and remember long as you got music your not alone... Till we meet again."
