With so many streaming services out there, there’s basically an endless amount of entertainment available to us at any time, but how much of it is actually worth watching? A new survey offers some insight on the best shows and movies of 2024.
According to the poll of 2-thousand Americans:
- “Shogun” is the most-liked show that came out in 2024, with 94% of people who watched the historical drama giving it a favorable rating and 65% calling it “great.”
- That’s followed closely by season three of “The Bear,” with 92% of those who watched it calling it “good” or “great.” Only 1% say they didn’t particularly like it.
- “Landman,” the new Paramount+ drama starring Billy Bob Thornton, scores a 91% approval rating and 65% of watchers say it’s “great.”
- When it comes to movies, “A Complete Unknown,” the Bob Dylan biopic, was the most-loved film last year. An impressive 99% of viewers give it a favorable rating and 75% call it “great.”
- “Deadpool & Wolverine” was a hit with nine in 10 viewers, who give it a favorable score, and so was “The Wild Robot,” which 86% of viewers say was “good” or “great”
- “Fallout,” Amazon Prime’s adaptation of the video game series, was the most-watched TV show of 2024, with 13% of respondents viewing it.
