Danielle Fishel has nothing but love for her Girl Meets World costar Sabrina Carpenter amid the singer's success.
The Boy Meets World actress, who revived her role as Topanga on the show, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter gushed over Carpenter's rise to become a pop singer and how "thrilled" she is that other people are finally seeing the talented star she has known for years, per People.
"It's been a dream come true," Fishel said. "It was also never something I doubted from the moment I met her. Her work ethic, her drive, her personality, her comedic skills, her sensitivity, her ability to communicate, all of the things that she has had since she was a child, everyone is getting to see and experience a little bit of the Sabrina that I've known now for over 10 years."
She continued, "She deserves every good thing that comes to her. She's one of my favorite people on the planet. She's one of my best friends, and I'm just so thrilled for her."
The Pod Meets World podcast cohost has shown her support for Carpenter since Girl Meets World ended in 2017 after three seasons, sharing social media posts celebrating her success and even attending Saturday Night Live when Carpenter was the musical guest in May 2024.
"Had the literal time of my life watching my bb check a massive box off her buck list," she wrote in an Instagram post at the time, with the "Espresso" singer replying in the comments, "I love you!!!!!"
