Earlier this month in Mobile Alabama a barista at Starbucks got a bit of a surprise in the drive-thru. Around 8:30 a.m. a customer had gone through the drive-thru to get a cup of coffee with her two pet monkeys in the car. When she got to the window, one of the monkeys jumped out the car window, into the shop, and onto the arm of the employee. It was at that time the monkey started gnawing on the woman's arm before hitting her and climbing to the top of her head. Luckily, another employee was able to pull the monkey off and throw it out the window where it returned back to the owner before they drove off. Police were called and the county health department was notified of the bite. The barista suffered bite marks to the hand and a laceration to the ear which required stitches. Police say the owner of the monkeys could face charges.
