Justin Baldoni Claims He Was "Held" In Basement During "It Ends With Us"

Justin Baldoni has claimed that he and his family were moved into a windowless basement during the premiere of his movie “It Ends With Us" last August. The actor and director claims they were "ushered" into the space to avoid interacting with Blake Lively and her guests.

The basement is described as a “makeshift holding area surrounded by concession stand stock, with only fold-out tables and chairs arranged in a square” in the recent lawsuit from the director. Baldoni filed a $400-million lawsuit against Lively and others, alleging Lively seized creative control of the film, defamed Baldoni, and orchestrated a smear campaign, among other claims.

Lively’s attorneys have called the lawsuit “another chapter in the abuser playbook,” while Baldoni's attorney described the evidence as “overwhelming.” Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni in December, and Baldoni’s recently filed a $250-million suit against the “New York Times” for its coverage.
