Get ready for a weekend of winter fun for the whole family! Join us as we bring back our beloved events and competitions, and introduce exciting new activities for a celebration of community and entertainment.

A weekend full of thrilling events, including the popular Battle of the Bowls: Soup & Chili Cook-off, Cornhole Tournament, Axe Throwing, Disc Golf Tournament, Battle of the Bloodies (bloody mary competition), and the debut of a new event, a Comedy Pub Crawl with RJN Comedy. Additionally, we are excited to host a Euchre Tournament and pre-party on Friday, January 31, partnering with Wonderland Distilling Co.

Starting at 9 AM, Snowfest 2025 launches a variety of activities inside and outside of Trinity Health Arena on Western Avenue. Our Battle of the Bowls: Soup & Chili Cook-off competition will be held inside the arena from 11AM to 3PM, highlighting flavorful soup and chili creations from new and beloved local Muskegon and Ottawa County restaurants. Tickets are available online in advance for $15 or at the door on the day of the event for $20. Ticket purchase includes a wristband for unlimited sampling of the delicious soup and chili from each food vendor and tokens for visitors to cast votes for their favorite soup and chili. Awards will be presented to the winners.

“Snowfest is one of our favorite traditions here in downtown Muskegon,” said Emily Erffmeyer, President of JCI Greater Muskegon. “It’s a chance for families to embrace the winter season, connect with the community, and enjoy a day full of fun and laughter in the snow. The energy and excitement that Snowfest brings are truly unmatched, drawing hundreds of people together in the middle of winter.”

This year, Snowfest is delighted to extend the festivities with our Comedy Pub Crawl, partnering with RJN Comedy. From 6PM to 9PM, five different event venues will host comedy shows with a final headliner show at Unruly Brewing Company. In addition, catch the Muskegon Risers in action at their home arena soccer game! Those who have never attended a game can expect a fast-paced, thrilling competition. Make sure to join in on these events for a fun-filled night out in Muskegon!

The JCI Greater Muskegon Snowfest Committee is putting in great effort to organize an unforgettable event, ensuring Snowfest 2025 has something for everyone!
