Bailey Zimmerman remembered the emotional moment he learned he would join 2024 CMA Entertainer of the Year Morgan Wallen on tour.
Zimmerman previously caught up with iHeartCountry to catch up about his newest hit single at that time, “Rock and A Hard Place,” and the moment he discovered he would join Wallen on tour. Zimmerman said he had just wrapped up his first arena show with legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn, and took off for Chicago for his next performance. That’s when he got a call from his manager to let him know he’d be part of the lineup of Wallen’s “One Night At A Time World Tour,” which also included special guests HARDY, Parker McCollum and ERNEST, the tour info showed.
Zimmerman said “me and my whole band just, like, cried because this is the reason we do this. The songs we write and all the hard work we put in and doing all this stuff is kind of paying off because of, you know, Morgan and him taking a chance on us, and believing in me and my music. So, I couldn’t be more psyched for the ‘One Night At A Time Tour.’ I’m gonna rock my face off. It’s gonna be great.”
Zimmerman released “Rock and A Hard Place” on his 16-track debut project, Religiously. The Album., in January 2023. The collection also included the title track, “Fix’n To Break,” “Fall In Love,” and more.
