WINDSOR, Wis. (WKOW) — One man is dead and a woman is seriously hurt after a two-vehicle cash on U.S. Highway 51 in the village of Windsor.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash at 6:57 a.m. Friday.

The sheriff's office said one driver, traveling north, lost control of their vehicle, crossing the center line striking another vehicle head-on, which was traveling south.

Both drivers, an 85 year-old man and a 44 year-old woman, were pinned and suffered serious injuries.

Both were taken to UW Hospital. A short time later, the man died from his injuries.
