The U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Trump's Request To Stop Sentencing

Despite an emergency petition filed by president-elect Donald Trump, the U.S. Supreme Court in a 5-4 vote, ruled that Trump's sentencing in the business fraud case will go on tomorrow as scheduled.

Radical judge, and Democrat donor Juan Merchan stated last week that he is not likely to "impose any sentence of incarceration," but rather a sentence of an "unconditional discharge," which means there would be no punishment imposed.

The high court said in their ruling that "the burden that sentencing will impose on the President-Elect’s responsibilities is relatively insubstantial in light of the trial court’s stated intent to impose a sentence of ‘unconditional discharge’ after a brief virtual hearing."

The hearing is set for tomorrow morning at 8:30am central time, with Trump allowed to appear virtually, 10 days before he becomes the 47th president of the United States on Inauguration Day.
