Have you ever been to a city so eclectic that you're left with a list of questions but in the best way?
What is that sculpture supposed to represent?
Who drew that interesting photo that looks like a real-life Rorschach test?
Who designed the light installation that makes the town square look like a disco at night?
And how about the unique seats in the coffee shop down the winding brick road that look more like a chairlift at a ski lodge than seating accommodations at a café?
Be it any of the previously mentioned attributes or something so totally out of the ordinary that your experience there is unforgettable, there is one city in each state known for being the strangest and quirkiest around.
According to Reader's Digest, the quirkiest city in all of Minnesota is Minneapolis. This city is known for its "zany" museums and bizarre sculptures.
Here's what Reader's Digest had to say about the weirdest place in the entire state:
"The Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis is an amazing sight to behold: Before even entering the museum, the eye is confronted with what looks like a huge Jenga made of metal. And that’s not the only zany museum worth checking out in Minneapolis: The House of Balls is bizarre, fun, and truly unique “funhouse of found art.” You will see sculptures of practically anything, made out of practically everything, from robots to sculptures crafted from clothespins."
