Two men are now on trial for the 2022 murder of a pregnant woman whose body was found in a Coventry pond.
The dual-jury trial is being held with both panels hearing the testimony together.
Each jury heard separate opening statements, and they will be separated for the closing arguments as well.
Gary Gromkiewicz and Michael Lambert are charged with murder in the killing 34-year-old Leila Duarte Da Luz of Brockton, Massachusetts. Gromkiewicz was the father of Da Luz' unborn child.
One jury of 12 will deliberate in the Gromkiewicz trial and the other will decide Lambert's case.
