Lend a Helping Can raises money for 12 New England charitable agencies to feed the Needy and Homeless.

 

Astros Agree to Terms with All of Their Arbitration-Eligible Players

The Houston Astros agreed to terms with several of their arbitration-eligible players on Thursday, including outfielders Chas McCormick and Jake Meyers, infielders Isaac Paredes, Jeremy Peña and Mauricio Dubón, as well as pitchers Framber Valdez, Luis Garcia and Bryan Abreu.

ESPN reported that Valdez's deal is worth $18 million, which will be his final arbitration season, becoming a free agent next offseason.

According to reports, Paredes got $6.6 milion on his deal, while Peña got $4.1 million, McCormick received $3.4 million, while Dubón got $5 million and Meyers got $2.3 million.

As for the other pitchers, Abreu received $3.4 million and Luis Garcia got $1.8 million.

The Astros will play their first Spring Training game on Saturday, February 22nd vs the Washington Nationals on SportsTalk790.
