Ever wonder where all the guns in the US are? Sure, we have our bad parts of town. But that doesn't mean EVERYONE has a gun. So where are they?
Now before you freak out, I'm not telling you where to get a gun. I'm just letting you know where they all are.
According to Pew Research Center (I guess they call it this because you know....Pew Pew.) data, American civilians own almost 400 million firearms. It's your right, but lets not go too crazy and be like my uncle John who would bring an AR to Thanksgiving dinner. That made for a fun trip home.
Some states, however, have much higher gun ownership rates than others. In Montana, 66.3% of residents own a firearm. At least 60% of the populations of Wyoming, Alaska, and Idaho have a gun.
Sounds like a lot, and it is. But remember to be safe with your firearm. Lock them up, keep them away from kids, and if it's for home protection just remember one thing. No matter how big your firearm is, someone always has more, better, bigger.
Be safe!
