Mandy Moore and her family are safe from the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfire that is currently wreaking havoc on Southern California.
Many who live in the area have been forced to evacuate their homes for safety, including Moore, her husband Taylor Goldsmith, their three young children August (3), Oscar (2) and Louise (3 months), and their pets. On her Instagram stories, Moore wrote, "Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats."
On another slide she wrote that she found safety at a friend's place, sharing, "Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don't know if our place made it."
Moore and family still live in their Pasadena home in the affected area, which they announced that they were selling last summer in July 2024. On Instagram, Mandy shared of putting their home on the market, "It's the end of an era. Today, our home that we lovingly restored from the studs, is available for its next chapter and owner. It’s bittersweet as @taylordawesgoldsmith and I got engaged, married and brought home 2 babies here but I’m thrilled to see who she goes to next. It’s SUCH a special space."
Firefighters have been battling the Pacific Palisades wildfire against wind gusts that reached up to 100 mph. Acres of land have been burnt, in addition to numerous homes, businesses and more. Get the latest updates via iHeartRadio's "24/7 News" podcast.
