FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Baseball's Murf Gray has been named to the 2025 Perfect Game Pre-Season All-American second team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Gray, a junior out of Madera South High School has been a star for the Bulldogs in back-to-back seasons as the starting third baseman, earning Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2023.
In the Bulldogs championship season in 2024, Gray was named MW Championship MVP after owning a .524 average in the tournament with 11 hits, eight runs, five doubles, a pair of home runs and seven RBIs. The Diamond 'Dogs played in five games to claim the MW Title, with Gray accumulating a 1.048 slugging percentage and .583 on-base percentage in that time.
In the 2024 season, Gray hit .296 in 61 games with 71 hits, including 18 doubles, a triple and 10 home runs, as well as 52 RBIs.
Gray will return to the Bulldog lineup for his junior season in 2025.
