Girl Scouts Retiring Two Popular Cookie Flavors

The Girl Scouts of the USA will soon retire two popular cookie flavors, USA TODAY reports.

'S'mores' and 'Toast-Yay!' cookies will be discontinued after 2025, following the previous retirement of the 'Raspberry Rally' flavor, which led to an online frenzy two years ago. S'mores were introduced in 2017, while Toast-Yay, a flavor inspired by French toast, debuted in 2021. GSUSA didn't explain why the two flavors were soon being retired but often makes changes to keep its cookie lineup fresh.

The two flavors will, however, be available for purchase while supplies last and GSUSA teased the possibility of both returning in the future.

“Never say never! We routinely reevaluate our cookie lineup to make room for new innovations. Discontinuing Toast-Yay! and Girl Scout S’mores may lead to something new and delicious," a GSUSA spokesperson shared in Tuesday statement obtained by USA TODAY.

This season's full lineup of Girl Scout cookies includes the following:

• Trefoils

Girl Scout cookies can be purchased online or in-person at booths nationwide. The cookies are typically sold between January and April nationally, however, timing varies in different regions, according to GSUSA.
