Belichick SHOULD CONSIDER coaching the Raiders under Tom Brady!

Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington discuss whether it was a mistake for Bill Belichick to accept the UNC job instead of an NFL head coaching position. The Raiders, now with Tom Brady in the front office, could have been a good fit for Belichick. However, this situation could have reversed the roles, with Brady potentially becoming Belichick’s boss, which might create a strange dynamic.

Kelvin Washington:

“Do you think there’s a part of him that doesn’t want to be subservient to Tom Brady? That he doesn't want Brady to be the one calling the shots? Like, ‘I put you in this position. I put you here, Coach. I’ve been the one over Tom all these years. I’ve been the one pushing the buttons, making the calls.’ You’d think there’s an element of, ‘I’m the owner; I picked YOU.’”

Rob Parker:

“I think it’s the ultimate sign of respect for him to come to me after our breakup and offer me a job when he easily could have just said, ‘I won the divorce, I won the championship afterward. I’m better now, and I can just move on.’ Now, I’m a part owner, and you’re going to college. It’s about me, not about you. For Brady to reach out and say, ‘Bill, we’d love for you to be the coach of the Raiders,’ with a chance to coach on a 3-year contract and a shot at the record.”
