The Saints starting quarterback is giving an update on his status with the team heading into the offseason.
New Orleans QB Derek Carr said he has had "super positive" talks with team leadership concerning his future with the franchise.
Carr missed a total of seven games this season and sat out the final four games because of two fractures in his non-throwing hand.
The 33-year-old is due $40 million next year and is set to count $51.45 million against the salary cap.
Carr completed 67.7 percent of his pass attempts for 2,145 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions through 10 games.
