Lehigh Valley Zoo Takes Precautions Against Bird Flu
(North Whitehall Township, PA) -- The Lehigh Valley Zoo is working to ensure its animals are safe from bird flu. Zoo officials say all barnyard birds, waterfowl and penguins have been moved to indoor enclosures to keep them separated from wild birds. The measures are being taken after hundreds of reported cases of bird flu in the area. The birds are expected to remain indoors until the outbreak is over.
