The Butkus Award winner given to the top linebacker in college football is headed to play on Sundays, Georgia's Jalon Walker has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Walker was the third Bulldog linebacker to win the Butkus Award in the last eight years, joining Roquan Smith (2017) and Nakobe Dean (2017).
In 14 games with 11 starts this season, he tied for the team-lead in sacks (6.5) and led in tackles for loss.
The 6"2, 245 pounder is projected to be one of the top linebackers taken in this year's draft.
