The iconic and controversial soda from the 1980s that was loved and hated for its over-the-top sugar and caffeine content, Jolt Cola is gearing up for a modern revival in 2025. And this time, it has even more of a caffeine-packed punch.
Jumping into a crowded energy drink market, the new Jolt Cola will come in 16-ounce cans with 200 milligrams of caffeine, up from about 70 milligrams in the 12-ounce cans from 1985, and will also be available in a zero-sugar option and in limited-edition flavors. Riding the nostalgia wave, it aims to win over fans from the past while enticing a new generation of energy drink enthusiasts.
