2025- Can We Be Better?

We like to enter a new year with hope. I tend to be that way and when you look back at 2024 it’d be hard to think we can’t be getting better. We saw dumb ideas floated on how to deal with family and friends as the holidays hit and the year drew to a close. Our top stories of 2024 show plenty of room for improvement. So, can we be better?

I’ll be talking about that Saturday morning at Trinity Wellsprings Church in Satellite Beach at 7:30am’s Men’s Breakfast- where they are opening up to all. Yes, women, you may join us in that normally men only space.

We had a New Year’s terrorist attack in New Orleans that killed 15 and injured dozens of others. Details on the attacker and his associates are still being investigated. The Sugar Bowl was postponed until today in the wake of that attack.

In one interesting sign, two Florida Democratic House members have switched to the Republican Party and a Democrat in the Florida Senate is distancing from the radical policies his party has been advocating for far too long.

Enforcement of the state’s new social media law is on hold as challenges make their way through the courts. Representative Tyler Sirois will join us in Friday’s 8am hour to discuss that legislation he sponsored and the 2025 session that lies ahead.
