State lawmakers have approved two key health care related bills as the two year legislative session winds down.
One of the bills seeks to overhaul the regulation and oversights of hospitals to prevent another collapse like the Steward Health Care crisis.
The other bill that gained final approval yesterday seeks to overhaul insurance coverage requirements for certain prescription drugs.
Both bills have been sent to Governor Maura Healey's desk.
