Carrie Underwood and Ryan Seacrest teased an “iconic” Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 with a new promo for the legendary annual show.
Underwood will take the stage to close out 2024, just before midnight in Times Square. Other performers in the lineup include Alanis Morissette, Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Megan Moroney, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett and more.
The 2025 show marks Seacrest’s 20th year hosting the New Year’s Eve show. He and Underwood are also reuniting on American Idol in the show’s upcoming season. Seacrest crowned Underwood the winner of American Idol in 2005, and 20 years after her career-launching victory, the Grammy-winning artist is returning as a judge. Underwood joined the show following Katy Perry's departure. She'll serve as a judge alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
“I have such fun memories of performing on New Year's Rockin’ Eve in Times Square in both 2007 and 2015, and I’m so excited to perform just before the ball drops again this year,” Underwood previously said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to celebrate 20 years since winning ‘American Idol’ by joining Ryan as he hosts his 20th New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 will air live on ABC on (Tuesday) December 31, beginning at 8 p.m. EST. The show will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
