Pembroke Pines, FL - A FedEx driver in Pembroke Pines was assaulted and robbed during a delivery, highlighting concerns over delivery driver safety.

On Friday, December 28, 2024, at approximately 12:35 p.m., a FedEx driver was delivering a package in the area of SW 14th Court in Pembroke Pines when a woman approached, claiming to be the homeowner and intended recipient.

Upon the driver's request for identification, an argument ensued.

A man then approached and forcibly knocked the package from the driver's hands.

The woman retrieved the package, and both suspects fled the scene.

Authorities have not disclosed whether the driver sustained injuries and have not released information regarding the search for the suspects.

This incident follows a recent attack on an Amazon delivery driver in Fort Lauderdale earlier this month, where the driver was stabbed and robbed after experiencing a flat tire; the suspect in that case was apprehended.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department urges anyone with information about this incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
