Syracuse Man Stable After Shooting Incident

A man is recovering after being shot in Syracuse. He was dropped off at Upstate University Hospital on Thursday (December 26) with wounds to his arm and abdomen. The shooting occurred at Costello Court in the James Geddes public housing complex. The victim is currently in stable condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The Syracuse Police Department is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact them.

This shooting follows a series of incidents in the area. In July, multiple people were injured in a shooting at the same housing complex. According to a report by Syracuse.com, three individuals were shot on Stone Court, and all were expected to survive.

The police continue to investigate whether these incidents are connected. Anyone with information about the shootings is encouraged to reach out to the Syracuse Police Department at 315-442-5222.
