(Rock Island, IL) -- The city of Rock Island is launching a new department to manage and maintain its fleet of approximately 175 vehicles.
The county has hired its first fleet manager to lead the department located at the former Ace Muffler Clinic at 1429 49th Avenue.
Vehicle services are set to begin in January.
