Alcohol is suspected in a deadly crash in Lexington County.
It happened Tuesday night on Fish Hatchery Road near Sand Mountain Road. SCHP says two SUVs traveling in opposite directions collided, and one of the drivers was killed. Troopers identified him as Gaston's William Orris. He was 73. The other driver was arrested. Thirty-seven-year-old Joaquin Baltazar Hernandez is charged with felony DUI involving death. He was taken to the hospital after the crash, but he's expected to survive.
