Houston seeing plenty of severe storm action the day after Christmas, with some damage reports coming in from the southwest to the northeast side of town.

The National Weather Service is now looking to confirm the exact number of Tornados, and how strong they where, but so far at least 5 have been confirmed to have touched down across the Greater Houston Area.

A confirmed tornado touched down near El Campo in Wharton County, with no injuries reported there.

Another tornado was spotted crossing Lake Houston in the middle of the afternoon. That tornado-warned storm then reportedly caused damage in Liberty County as it moved through the area. No injuries have been reported.

Two homes as well in the Alief area of southwest Houston took damage from a possible brief tornado. No injuries were reported there, either.

CenterPoint Energy managed to have no issues, with about 3,800 customers losing power at the peak of the storms.

The tornado watch has expired for the area, and no severe storms are expected the rest of today.
