Man Arrested After Shooting In The Woodlands Area

A man walked into an auto parts store in Montgomery County on Saturday morning, then opened fire on an employee, according to deputy constables.

The Auto Zone employee was shot several times and was later pronounced dead.

The gunman quickly ran, according to an eyewitness, but was caught by authorities within minutes.

Constable's deputies said Saturday afternoon they have arrested 19-year-old William Gabriel Aquilar, and he is expected to be charged with murder.

There was no one in the store near 28800 Birnham Woods Drive in The Woodlands area when the shooting occured, but there was one customer who was in the parking lot.

The store is next door to a children's gymnastics center, which was open at the time but none of the children were hurt.

The identity of the victim has not been released, pending an investigation.
