A suspect is in custody for the shooting death of a Cox Communications employee.
New Orleans officers responded early Monday afternoon to the reported shooting on Dwyer Road. They found Adam Brown shot and unresponsive next to his work truck.
Brown later died at a local hospital.
An investigation led detectives to identify Jalil Williams as the suspect.
Police and US Marshals arrested Williams early Thursday morning on a charge of second-degree murder.
The shooting reportedly happened during an attempted robbery.
