Berks County Commissioners Approve 8% Tax Increase
(Reading, PA) -- Taxes are set to go up again in Berks County next year. The Board of Commissioners voted yesterday to approve an eight-percent tax increase in 2025. This means residents will be taxed about nine dollars for every thousand-dollars of assessed property value. The tax raise comes after the board voted to increase taxes by nine-percent last year.
